Description
This 1981 Colt New Frontier Single Action Army revolver delivers classic styling with upgraded features that set it apart from the standard SAA. Chambered in .44-40 WCF, this Third Generation model sports a 4 3/4-inch barrel, richly blued finish, and vivid casehardened frame, topped with a fully adjustable rear sight for enhanced accuracy.
Fitted with checkered walnut grips, the revolver is in excellent condition, retaining 99% of its original finishes. Only light handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line are present. The revolver is mechanically excellent and comes with its original Colt wood grain box, which is in good shape but has mild wear and a missing end flap.
A fine example of Colt's craftsmanship during the 1980s, this New Frontier model is ideal for collectors and shooters alike who appreciate the blend of Old West heritage and modern refinements.
