Description
This Colt Single Action Army revolver, chambered in the iconic .45 Colt, is a 1st Generation example manufactured in 1881. Known as the “Peacemaker,” the SAA became the definitive revolver of the American West and has remained one of the most recognized and collectible handguns in history.
This revolver features black Colt hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt medallion, and patent dates marked clearly on the frame. The revolver shows an even, aged patina consistent with over a century of history, with the Colt trademarks still visible. The action cycles, and the revolver retains its authenticity as a matching-numbers gun.
As a pre-WWI production Colt SAA, this revolver represents a genuine piece of American firearms history. Whether you’re a serious Colt collector or a student of the Old West, this revolver is a valuable and desirable piece.
